This quarter marks a big push towards the overall goal of a reactive, data-driven pipeline for managing metadata within the platform. This revolves around building and operating reliable, fault-tolerant streaming applications - allowing us to move more of the existing platform features to this model, as well as increasing the velocity with which we can deliver new capabilities. Ultimately this will lead to the platform servicing a higher volume of in-flight metadata with lower end-to-end latencies.
